You Have GOT To Watch This

You know that we don't tend to watch current TV shows. We have never seen Seinfeld, Sex and the City, Vampire Diaries, American Idol or any other popular shows. However, this is one recommendation that we stand by...rent and watch seasons 1 and 2 of BREAKING BAD. It is currently running its third season on the AMC channel now on Sunday nights. The premise is wild but the show is the best I've ever seen: Walt, the middle school science teacher, decides to make the best meth available and sell it to provide for his family. As you can imagine, his decisions hurt many people. The show is gritty, touching, real, and has us totally addicted (no pun intended). As Walt says , "RESPECT THE CHEMISTRY!"

Age is just a number, right???

Well...it finally happened. I have a girl in my kindergarten class whose mother was in my first class ever. She said "weren't you my teacher?" God did I suddenly feel old. Then, I realized that the kids in my first class (4th grade) would be 28 years old now. That is just too shocking to think about. When I get grandkids of students, I will quit!!
